Kristy sees clients in person in Duluth and via telehealth.

Kristy believes that we live in a complex world, one which is both messy and full of joy. With this in mind, she understands that people can find themselves overwhelmed and needing help getting unstuck.

Kristy enjoys working with couples of all orientations and will meet you wherever you find yourself in your relationship, beginning, middle, or end — there is always room for growth. She also works with individuals, especially those going through life transitions. No matter what you are experiencing, Kristy will work to create a safe and collaborative space in which you can discover what you need.

Using an attachment lens and an existential outlook she will help you understand yourself and your world. Because it is our connections that make us who we are and shape the way we live, she believes working to enhance these connections makes our lives and our relationships more meaningful. Her overarching goal is to help you see your life as it is, and as you want it to be.

Kristy completed a Master of Science in Education degree with a focus on Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She also holds a BS degree in Environmental Studies from Northland College. Kristy began her Emotionally Focused Therapy training in 2021 and is currently expanding her knowledge with the next level of EFT training. She works under the supervision of Maija Swanson MSW, LDAC, LICSW(MN), LCSW (WI).

When Kristy isn’t working with clients she enjoys hanging out with her family and her dogs. She also loves to read and for some reason has taken up mountain biking at a later than average age.
