About Me: What I do
Relationships can be both beautiful and challenging, and no one should have to navigate those
challenges alone. Whether you're feeling stuck in patterns of conflict, struggling with emotional
disconnection, or facing major life transitions, I am here to support you. My goal is to provide a
warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to explore your emotions, relationships, and
personal experiences. I welcome couples, individuals and families from all walks of life and I am
committed to creating an affirming space where one feels seen, heard, and understood.
Education & Training
I have a background in clinical psychology and I am currently a Couple and Family Therapy
doctoral student at the University of Minnesota. My practicum & internship are an essential
part of my clinical training, allowing me to refine my therapeutic skills while working with
clients in meaningful ways. My training is grounded in evidence-based approaches including
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). My ongoing EFT training allows me to support couples,
families and individuals in fostering deeper emotional connections and navigating relational
challenges with greater understanding and resilience.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe that healing happens in the context of safe, compassionate relationships, and therapy
should be a place where you feel truly heard and understood. My approach is collaborative and
client-centered, integrating EFT, ACT and CBT to support emotional well-being and relational
health. I also practice with cultural humility, recognizing that each person’s story is shaped by
their unique cultural and social experiences. Whether you're seeking support for relationship
difficulties, personal growth, or life transitions, I will meet you where you are—with warmth,
respect, and care. I see clients virtually and in-person at Minnesota Couple Therapy Center in Roseville under the supervision of Kurt Wical, PhD, LMFT.
