Relationships are essential to navigate life with support, encouragement, and connection. I collaborate with clients to gain understanding into who they are and how they relate to the world. My role as a therapist is to offer curiosity and pose challenges alongside clients as they create meaningful change. My approach to therapy adapts to the clinical needs present, as well as client preferences, in order to facilitate sessions that feel beneficial in the process of creating and maintaining change. Therapy offers a unique space to explore vulnerabilities, share in celebration, and discover new ways of interacting.

I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and completed my graduate work at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. My clinical experience includes working with adolescents, couples, family systems, and parent-child dyads. I bring a systemic lens to the clinical work that I do in order to address relationships that may or may not be physically present in the therapeutic space. I utilize the framework and interventions of multiple systemically focused approaches (experiential, solution-focused, narrative, structural) to address the specific needs of each client. In addition to my graduate training and clinical experience, I have specific training in PREPARE-ENRICH, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and have completed core skills training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I continue to pursue additional training in EFT, as well as other systemically focused approaches. As a therapist, I actively seek learning opportunities in order to expand my knowledge base and clinical skills.

The process of therapy is most successful when the therapeutic relationship elicits trust and comfort. This includes being able to show up as you are, in your humanness, and be challenged to grow. I am privileged to be a guest in your story as we navigate the current season of your life together. Because the therapeutic relationship is key, I offer 20-minute introductory consults to be able to virtually connect together, ask pertinent questions and preview our dialogue. Please email me with questions or to request an introductory consultation. Together we will celebrate victories, wade through challenges and explore future possibilities. Welcome, I’m glad you’re here.
